MY GRANDSON JAKE WAS TREATED IN BRISTOL WITH ALL AND AFTER A RELAPSE HAD A BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT. THE CARE AND SUPPORT HE RECEIVED WAS FABULOUS AND GIVEN THEY LIVE IN CORNWALL THE USE OF THE HOUSE MEANT THAT SOME OF HIS FAMILY COULD BE NEARBY THROUGH MOST OF IT. THE ACTIVITY ORGANISERS MADE LIFE BEARABLE FOR JAKE AND WERE VERY CARING AND UNDERSTANDING. THE WHOLE FAMILY FELT REALLY PART OF THE WHOLE PROCESS. JAKE IS FINE NOW 2 YEARS AFTER THE TRANSPLANT AND 4 YEARS AFTER THE ORIGINAL DIAGNOSIS.
